AFOOT has all the elements of a prize-winning novel. It has conflicts in pursuit of a goal, many strong, colorful characters, references to important events in our country’s history, descriptive nature pictures, and humorous anecdotes that combine to make it a very enjoyable novel for a wide readership. What a great movie it would make!
